Hamlet Commercial District "HC"

Purpose

The general purpose of this District is to permit commercial development in established Hamlets.

Minimum Lot Area

As required by the Development Authority.

 

Minimum Total Floor Area

As required by the Development Authority.

 

Setbacks

  1. Front

     Minimum: As required by the Development Authority.

b. Rear

    Minimum: 3.04m (10ft)

c. Side

   Minimum: 4.5m (15ft) or 10% of the width of the site, whichever is the lesser.

If the land is bounded on both sides by land classified as Hamlet Commercial, no side yard requirement is necessary but where a side yard is provided it shall not be less than 3.04m (10ft).

Where a side yard abuts a primary highway or a secondary road, the side yard adjacent to the highway or secondary road shall be as required by the Development Authority.

To be of a standard satisfactory to the Development Authority.


Off-Street Parking

As required by the Development Authority.
