Cadotte Lake

Cadotte Lake is a community in northwestern Alberta, Canada, within Northern Sunrise County. Located on the northern shore of Cadotte Lake along Highway 986, it is 86 km northeast of Peace River.

Cadotte Lake straddles the boundaries of Woodland Cree #474 First Nation.  If you are traveling to Cadotte Lake, you’ll enjoy a scenic drive through portions of Alberta’s Boreal Forest, with its densely treed areas and abundant wildlife. Keep an eye out for bears, moose, owls, hawks, and more. As you pass through the community, you’ll be treated to beautiful views of Cadotte Lake, which offers opportunities for boating and fishing. Anglers can look forward to catching walleye and northern pike in these waters.
