Harmon Valley

Harmon Valley is a community located in northwestern Alberta, within Northern Sunrise County, approximately 25 km east of the Village of Nampa. Named after Daniel Harmon, a fur trader, the community sits in the Heart River valley and is surrounded by farms and agriculture, offering quiet, country living with plenty to do in the region.

The Harmon Valley Agricultural Society hosts various events, from lively rodeos to stunning weddings. Nearby, Harmon Valley Park provides 17 un-serviced campsites (with a $10 fee), free firewood, picnic shelters, and two playground areas. It's an excellent destination for stargazers, with the chance to view the northern lights. Visitors can also enjoy groomed walking and skiing trails, and a scenic walk down to the creek that runs alongside the park.
