Evacuation Alert

An Evacuation Alert is issued to inform the community of a potential or current threat that could lead to an Evacuation Order. This alert allows the affected population to start preparing for a possible evacuation by fueling vehicles, gathering important documents, and preparing food and water. It is also an important time to consider the evacuation of vulnerable populations.

An Evacuation Alert may be communicated through one or more of the following methods:

  • Alberta Emergency Alert
  • Door-to-Door Notifications
  • Media Outlets
  • County Social Media & Website
  • Voyent Alert
