Forestry District "F"

Purpose

The purpose of this District is to regulate land use within the Green Area of the County.

Special Provisions - Industrial/Residential Camp

  1. All parking must be provided on site and areas for parking shall be developed to the satisfaction of the Development Authority;
  2. All points of access and egress shall be located to the satisfaction of the Development Authority;
  3. The maximum site coverage shall be determined at the discretion of the Development Authority, and shall include the areas required for all on-site parking, applicable setbacks, and landscaping;
  4. Adjacent industrial camps shall be located a sufficient distance from each other, as required for fire protection purposes by the building code; 
  5. Screening and fencing of storage areas shall be to the satisfaction of the Development Authority;
  6. Caretakers Residence shall be a manufactured home, temporary trailer unit or to the discretion of the Development Authority; and
  7. The development shall have adequate lighting, subject to the discretion of the Development Authority.


Landscaping

In addition to other provisions of this Bylaw, the Development Authority may require any use to be screened from view with a vegetated buffer strip and/or screening of a visually pleasing nature, satisfactory to the Development Authority.

Additional Requirements

A Development Permit may be issued for Development on Crown Land subject to a disposition (lease, license, disposition leading to a patent, etc.)
having been obtained from the provincial Ministry/Department responsible.
