News:

At the regular Council meeting held on November 25, 2025, Administration was directed to:

• Send a letter to the Alberta Bilingual Municipalities Association in support of their funding application to the Northern Regional Economic Development Program.
• Include $79,500 in the 2026 Operational Budget for the asphalting of the pathways at the Nampa & District Historical Museum for the outdoor exhibits.
• Schedule a Governance and Priorities Committee Meeting for January 23, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in the Council Chamber.

 

Council approved the members and clerks of the Peace Regional Subdivision and Development Appeal Board

Presentations:

• Rick Helgeson, Shannon Gadsby, and Audrey Gall, Board Members with the Nampa & District Historical Society, provided a presentation to support their Pathway Pavement Donation Request

 

Bylaws:

Council gave first and second readings to Bylaw B477/25, to Repeal Bylaw B455/24 Parks Committee. Third reading will be requested at the December 9, 2025, regular Council meeting.

December 9, 2025, Public Hearing for Bylaw B473/25 at 10:00 a.m.

January 13, 2026, Regular Council Meeting at 9:30 a.m. in the Northern Sunrise County Council Chamber.
