Proof of Voter Eligibility
Every person who attends a voting station in Northern Sunrise County who wishes to vote, must
- be on the permanent electors register, and
- provide one piece of identification issued by a Canadian government, whether federal, provincial, or local, or an agency of that government, that contains your photograph
OR
- complete a statement in the prescribed form adding you to the permanent electors register, and
- validate your identity and address by providing:
- one piece of identification issued by a Canadian government, whether federal, provincial or local, or an agency of that government, that contains your photograph, name, and address of residence
- provide two pieces of ID*, both containing your full name, and with one showing your current physical address
- another elector may vouch for your address only, by completing the prescribed form provided at the voting station.
