Heavy Equipment Operator - Operations & Infrastructure Department

Reporting to the Road Foremen of the Operations & Infrastructure department, the Heavy Equipment Operator performs various duties, including manual labour and operation of equipment used in the maintenance of the County’s infrastructure. The Heavy Equipment Operator must ensure that all applicable municipal policies and bylaws, provincial legislation and federal legislation are adhered to.
The position requires a Valid Class 1 Alberta Driver’s License with a positive driving record as well as a strong mechanical aptitude.
Employment with the County is conditional upon receiving the following documents before your first day of work:
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
- Copy of Class 1 License and a Satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
