News:
At the regular Council meeting held on September 12, 2023:
Council approved a one-year time extension for subdivision application 21MK020 ending on September 12, 2024.
Bylaws:
- Council gave first reading to Sunrise Gateway Business Park Area Structure Plan Amendment Bylaw B435/23 as presented.
- Council gave third reading to and passed Bylaw B422/23 Municipal Development Plan Amendment as presented.
- Council gave first and second reading to Bylaw B436/23 to repeal Bylaw B425/23 to Establish the Designated Officer Position of the Director of Legislative Services and Human Resources as presented. Third reading of the Bylaw will be requested at the September 26, 2023, regular Council meeting.
- Council gave first and second reading to Bylaw B437/23 Revised Regional Assessment Review Board as presented. Third Reading of the Bylaw will be requested at the September 26, 2023, regular Council meeting.
Policies:
- Council approved amendments to Policy 3.2 Investments as presented.
Donations and Sponsorships:
- $1,000 to the Peace River Aboriginal Interagency Committee for their September 30, 2023, Orange Shirt Day Event and $1,000 to the October 4, 2023, Sisters in Spirit Walk event.
