Notice of Public Hearing for Bylaw B319/17

How does a Public Hearing work?

A public hearing is a process regulated by the Municipal Government Act and the municipality must follow the regulations. It allows interested parties, and any other persons who may be affected by the result of a decision or action, have the opportunity to make submissions, ask questions or register objections to a redistricting application to the County Land Use Bylaw.

The only concerns that Council can take into consideration from residents are issues that are directly related to the boundary adjustment redistricting application.

Each respondent has five minutes to speak about the redistricting application and how it will affect them directly or indirectly. This is an opportunity to express their opinions regarding how the redistricting may impact their future situation.

To ensure that everyone has an opportunity to be heard, please keep submissions (oral or written) clear, concise, and directly related to the topic at hand.
