Purpose

The Committee is responsible for evaluating applications against the program criteria and selecting two recipients each year. The review process takes place shortly after the application deadline and is completed in a single meeting, with final selections forwarded to the Northern Alberta Development Council for approval.

The Bursary Review Committee includes public members appointed by Council and operates under an approved bylaw outlining its role, membership, confidentiality requirements, and decision-making authority. This structure ensures applications are assessed consistently and in alignment with Council’s objectives for the program
