Community Development Coordinator - Community Services Department

Reporting to the Director of Community Services, the Community Development Coordinator is responsible for the implementation of Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) programs and recreational opportunities. The Coordinator supports individuals, families, and groups in identifying, accessing and utilizing relevant resources in the community to develop and maintain healthy lifestyles. The Coordinator will promote collaboration among community groups and agencies to narrow the gap and minimize an overlap in services. The Coordinator will have an intimate knowledge of existing community needs and will provide guidance in addressing these needs. The Community Development Coordinator must ensure that all applicable municipal policies and bylaws, provincial legislation and federal legislation are adhered to.
