Weed Control

Alberta is a beautiful place, so it's no big question why legislation has long been in place to protect its valuable assets from invasive species.

Scentless Chamomile (Mayweed) has been elevated to a Prohibited Noxious weed in Northern Sunrise County, and under law, landowners are mandated to destroy them.

Vegetation Management

Roadside mowing has now become a part of the Integrated Vegetation Management of weed species and will follow a yearly rotation.

Pest Management

Early detection of harmful crop pests allows producers an opportunity to utilze available control measures or plan rotations to manage outbreaks.
